Building Project

French Camp Presbyterian Church Building Project

French Camp Presbyterian Church (FCPC) founded in 1849 is alive and well!

Our unique church serves both the community-at-large and the staff and students of French Camp Academy, a Christ-centered school and home originally founded by FCPC in 1885. These two ministries cooperate in the spiritual training of 170 dorm students ranging from 7-19 years of age. The church itself has less than 80 members.

FCPC is currently in the final planning stages for enlarging its sanctuary and for constructing a new building that will include a Fellowship Hall and Kitchen, 10 additional classrooms, handicap accessibility, and an improved South entrance. The expansion will accommodate the growth that has taken place in recent years both in the Academy and in the Church. Since joining the Associate Reformed Presbyterian denomination in 2007, church membership has grown by over 30%.

There is vibrancy in FCPC today.

You can experience it in Fun & Fellowship, an outreach ministry to senior citizens; in Scouts and Pioneer Girls, an outreach to pre teens; in Historical Highlights luncheons that spotlight God’s faithfulness to His work in French Camp; in 16 Sunday school classes; in our worship service; and especially in the many short-term mission trips that adults and youth from our congregation participate in annually. In 2011, almost $57,000 (over 25% of all funds received by FCPC) was spent to support mission efforts at home in Ft. Worth, TX; New York, NY; and Dearborn, MI; and abroad in Wales; Austria; Mexico; and Honduras.

We feel good about the work that is being accomplished for the kingdom that endures.

We ask that you partner with us by making a generous contribution to our capital campaign effort which will fund ten additional Sunday school rooms, bathroom and kitchen facilities, and a fellowship hall which will accommodate greater outreach to our community, our presbytery, and our students and their families. Thank you for your consideration.
