HOPE for the Fatherless
The mission of HFTF is to transform the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in Ethiopia in and through the local community. We believe each orphaned or vulnerable child should be placed in a FAMILY through one of these ways: reunification, kinship placement, foster care, domestic adoption and/or small group homes.
The founder and director of this ministry, Belay Gebru, first came to French Camp in 2015 with an international children’s choir of orphans, “His Little Feet” and has come several times since. An orphan himself, God gave Belay a heart and vision for orphans in his own country of Ethiopia. HFTF began in 2016; they opened their first group home in 2017 and are now impacting countless orphans in a variety of exciting ways!
FCARP sent a mission team in 2018 to experience first-hand how this ministry is thriving and blessed by God. What a joy to support a ministry that is clearly changing lives and sharing the hope of the Gospel to the fatherless!
