Following Jesus!
Jesus doesn't call us to a religion; He calls us to Himself. He calls us to be followers of Christ, having a relationship between us and Him. In this passage, Andrew, Peter, Philip, Nathanael receive the grace from the Lamb of God and follow. We are all being told to "Come and see!"
That's Jesus!
John's Gospel is about showing us who Jesus is, and John the Baptizer in this passage wants to point you right to Him. There are a number of pictures from the Old Testament you see in this passage that point us to the real identity of Jesus. John is pointing and saying, "That's Jesus! That's the One who comes to take away the sins of the world!"
Jesus Before the Beginning
It’s looking at Jesus, the Word made flesh. From the passage we know Him as God, Creator, and Man.
Gospel Gratitude
This week, we unpack the story where Jesus heals ten lepers, but only one turns back to say thanks, showing how that kind of heartfelt gratitude to God can transform our lives.
